GATIS fellow receives collaboration grant


Our alumna GATIS experienced researcher (ER) Alessandra Cagnazzo (DESY) has been awarded a grant from the Foundation Blanceflor Boncompagni Ludovisi, née Bildt for the academic year 2015/2016. The fellowship will support her during 12 months, of which 6 will be spent at DESY in Hamburg and the remaining 6 months at NORDITA in Stockholm.
The purpose of the foundation is to promote scientific education and research by granting individual scholarships to Italian and Swedish citizens that are willing to carry out their research/study abroad.
The subject areas of the Foundation are physics, chemistry, odontology, medical science, engineering, computer science, geophysics, geochemistry, astrophysics and related areas. The studies are to be carried in one or several of the following countries: Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland or the USA.
The GATIS Consortium congratulates Alessandra for her successful application for further funding after her GATIS fellowships will end at the end of May 2015.
